tight market windows in the rapidly evolving HEV and EV markets. Integrated multiphysics simulation technology helps to address these challenges by enabling engineers to rapidly evaluate — prior to physical prototyping — functionality, performance and cost of a wide range of design alternatives. This approach makes it possible to optimize traction motor design performance in a fraction of the time and cost required by traditional design methodology. By leveraging advanced state-of-the-art simulation, automotive organizations can gain a significant competitive advantage in the race to replace conventional powertrain technology.
